http://www.3dmasters.org.uk/3D Masters 2009 will be held in Murcia, Spain on the 24th, 25th and 26th July 2009The venue will be the Mosa Trajectum Golf Resort, where the driving range will be reserved for the 3D Masters event. The location is within 15km of Murcia/San Javier Airport, Alicante Airport is only 80 km away and both are supported by low-cost airlines from all over Europe with Transcontiental flights served by nearby Madrid. There is also a huge amount of low-cost accommodation within the immediate area, making the event easily accessible by a large number of enthusiasts.
There are some brand new manoeuvres for 2009, some old favourites, and also the number has increased to 40. This is so that the wide variety of skill levels from 3DX and 3D Masters can be embraced with one set.
At the end you will see the revisions to 3D Masters Rules to allow a pilot to suffer a failed flight but still progress to the finals of the event. We hope that this will continue to encourage top world class pilots to compete, and also to encourage plenty of the highly adventurous and pioneering flying for which 3D Masters has become renowned.
The site is ideal for the World's largest International 3D contest with unlimited Night Flying, no noise constraints and virtually guaranteed good weather. With its own bars, restaurants, entertainments, and the Sea only 20 minutes away, the visitor is guaranteed not only a spectacular weekend of 3D, but a holiday as well.
3D Masters 2009 will feature modifications to its format to ensure a close-fought and exciting event, as well as Night Flying and Synchro Flying Competitions. Definitely NOT to be missed. Hasta la Vista Baby.
