Φαίνεται πολύ ωραίο.

Ευχαριστώ, όμως....

Αχ, ένα αλλό για το σκουπιδοτενεκές.

Είχα δικιο, "Νομίζω θα εχει μια πολύ κοντη/μικρή (short) ζωή."  Μην πειράζει, ώστε το hobby μας.

Έχασε τον σκελετό τροχών. Παλι. 

Έσπασε την ρίζα της αριστερη πτερα.

Δεκα λεπτά στο ουρανό, τρεις ωρες στο "εργαστάσιο"; Δεν νομίζω. Ασ λέμε στα Αγγλικά, "Εχω αλλά ψάρια να τηγανίζει."

Δεν ήταν μια κατασροφή,  έκανε λιγες πτήσες, χωρις τον σκελετό τροχών, περίπου 13-15" εχω ένα βιντεο απ μια πτήση  και  λιγες screenshots

Ah well, I knew from the start this might happen.  This one suffers from the same fragility issues as its smaller cousin, despite some of my changes to deal with them, and has come back from its second outing requiring several, more, hours of repair work.  Which I'm not going to bother with,  to the scrapheap with it as I have other things that I want to do.

Lost the undercarriage on the first landing.
Broke the port wing root, this is why it's being written off.  I won't be able to separate the port wing without doing a great deal more damage and it's just not worth the effort.

Not a disaster, I managed to get a few flights, without the undercarriage, in the 13-15s range on 800-900 turns.  If the wing root hadn't given way I was thinking about repairing it after I'd sorted out the trim without the undercarriage.

Φαίνεται πολύ ωραίο.

Επιτέλους, έκανε μι πτήση.  Μόνο 5-7 δευτερόλεπτες, ομως μια πήτση.

Το γρασίδι εδω είναι πολύ ξυρο και επισης σκλυρό ετσι ξεσκίζει το λεπτό χαρτί και το "rigging".  Ο σκελετός τροχών 'ηταν σπαμενός επισης,  ζήτω για το cyanoacrylate.

Έμαθα πως να κρατάω αυτο το μοντελο για να κινά απο το χερι.  Ποσα χρονια: 

Καθαρος βαρος  24,5γρ
Με βαρος (Pb) να ισοζύιο 38γρ. Ναι, σοβαρα!
Με λάστικο 43γρ

Το λάστικο - 2 x 450μμ x 4μμ

Προσπαθώ νωρίς αυριο αν είναι ελαφρύς

Finally managed to make some test flights.  Weather not ideal, but the best we'd had here for weeks.

Unballasted weight  24.5g
Ballast             13.5g.  Shocking, eh?
Motor                5g

The motor is 2 x 18" x 0.16" and the best flight was 5-7 seconds on 800 turns. Took two hours to get that far, spent a lot of time waiting for lulls and had to abandon because of the wind.

Came home with rigging adrift and tears in the tissue.  The "grass" is long, but it's turned to straw so it eats tissue and, as expected, the first field repairs were to the undercarriage.

One good thing, I have finally worked out a good way to hold it for a hand launch.

Try again tomorrow if it is calm enough first thing.

Η καλύτερη φωτογραφία που ηθελα να βγάλω κατά την επίσκεψη μου στην Αγγλία και στο παγκόσμιο πρωτάθλημα ηταν αυτή! Είναι η στιγμή που γνώρισα απο κοντά τον θρύλο της SCALE κατηγορίας Peter MacDermott.Δεν εχω λόγια να περιγράψω το πόσο ωραιος τύπος ειναι! πόσο φιλικός και ταπεινός! Απο μικρός τον ακολουθώ στα περιοδικά και τελικά τον συνάντησα απο κοντά ! Με εχει εμπνέυσει να ονειρευτώ και να κατασκευάσω τα δικά μου αερομοντέλα όσο κανένας άλλος!
