I will do a trip in Greece and I think it will be interesting to do some FPV flights and aerial video in Corfu. I intent to fly a 2 kg quadcopter, can anyone please tell me the regulations for flying this kind of stuff in Greece ? Is this legal ? Thanks ! It is not legitimate if you do not get permission from the CAA. (ΥΠΑ in Greece) You need to file a flight plan at least 15 days before the flight. Drone should be insured against third parties. Flying away from airports. I will only do this in non populated zones.

Of course the best precaution is to use a "buddy" box with which another person can take control of the quadcopter anytime and land it safely. |
