The bottom of the wing between the two root ribs is sheeted with 1mm balsa. For simplicity and fast building the root ribs are kept the same size. Profile is 220mm selig 1048 18% thick.
The front two carbon rods for motor and battery attachment are resting on the main spar and on the leading edge. In order to create downthrust cut 5 mm deep holes in the leading edge and place the carbon rods in them.
Attach the motor with tape or a tie-wraps to allow some experimenting. Attach the battery with velcro or tape.
I use 2 powerfull nanoservo's(1,5 Kg) for the ailerons and 2 "normal" ones for elevator and rudder.Power is a speed400 6V direct drive with a push-on gunther prop. Battery is 8 cells sanyo 500 AR. Use a small receiver because there isn't much space. Since the planes flies pretty slow I'm sure it'll fly even better with a geared speed 400 or speed 480. CG is on the main spar.
Throws for very aerobatic flight: Ailerons: +/- 25mm Elevator: +/- 20mmRudder: As large as you can get it. For more easy flying cut the throws in half.
Please let me know what you think of this plan(e) and if you decide to build it, please let me know what setup you use and how it flies. Pictures are very welcome http://home.planet.nl/~raven274
